Portrait of Luke & Brook, 16"x20", Digital Oil Painting, 2022
There hasn't been anyone who has ghosted my attempts to draw them quite like my brother Luke. After a few years of asking, he decided it was time. From sorting out the texture of the snowcones to the angles of their hats, this one really challenged me. This one is important because it is the last portrait I drew of 2022. I sent him and his wife a fine art print of it for Christmas on Somerset Velvet 255 gsm paper.
This is noteworthy because I've been experimenting with how to make prints of my art!

It is always satisfying to see where a portrait started and where it went. A time-lapse of all the marks and moments it took to make this portrait is available below. Enjoy!
