Little Ben, 11"x14", Digital Oil Painting, 2023
This is a moment from Ben's childhood (my Spouse). I wanted to honor the memory and create this visual with his uncle in the picture helping him learn to ride his trike.
Created using Adobe Fresco. I used only 2 layers. The background color on one layer and everything else on the second layer. I used the "round" live oil brush and the eraser.

After completing this portrait I decided to have some fun with it.

I also created a third variation of this portrait of little Ben. In the third variation there is a single image of Ben alone. I am planning to have this version turned into a fine art print and will be handing off to Ben for a collaboration piece. Ben is a printmaker and his body of work focuses on places and objects from his childhood. It should be interesting. Will update with the finished collaboration once it is completed.
